Block paving repair
Block Paving repairs are generally the simplest repair when compared to the three other common road, pavement or driveway surface repairs.
However, we still warn people that you should always have confidence in the tradesmen you intend to use to repair the area. There are still many future problems that can occur if the repair of the concrete blockpaving is not carried out to a specific standard.
Some of the problems that we encounter from Block paving, ranges from sunken blockpaving, lack of sub-base, lack of jointing sand, loss of jointing sand, weeds, root damage, ant infestation and nests, moss growth, cracked or wobbly paving, erosion of sub base, wrong application of polyurethane sealer or acrylic sealer, efflorescence. A word to the wise
There are many people out there that do exclaim to be very good at Block laying, but trust us, after you have been on as many sunken driveways as we have, it is difficult, to truly say that there are but a few true professionals. There are certain paving accreditted schemes that do vet Block laying experts, however there are also those so called 'tradesmen' out there that do pretend to be in those schemes too. An unknowing customer should be weary not to be mislead or mis-sold by a 'pretender'.
