Please be aware there are many problems that can be rectified with pattern imprinted concrete even when it does look like it is beyond saving.

Some common problems that we come accross are often to do with the driveway sealant that has been applied. It can appear to be a milky colour, this is known as 'blooming ' within the trade. This generally can be dealt with quite easily when a professional has the correct materials, and applies the sealer in the correct method.

Some impressed concrete driveways also lose colour within a period of time, there are a number of reasons behind this. One main cause is a lack of sealer, leading to less protection, or it could be down to not enough maintenance over a period of time. A word of caution! This will require sorting fairly quickly, as once there is a lack of sealer on the imprinted concrete surface, then the colour will rapidly deteriorate and you will end up with a colourless drive, beyond remedy. There are however other solutions such as 'colour washing' or 'acid staining', which we can supply further information about if required.

You may also notice that your pattern imprinted concrete driveway has cracked or has hair line cracks within it. The seriousness or extent of damage of the cracks within your concrete driveway or patio can range dependant upon the size of them, how long they have been there, did they appear straight away and whether the concrete has crack control joints installed in the correct positions.
